Running two battery packs in parallel on a high-draw platform — whether that's a 6S FPV build, a brushless RC car, or an electric scooter with a dual-pack configuration — introduces a specific problem that a standard XT90 doesn't solve cleanly: the inrush current spike when the second pack connects to a system that's already live. Left unmanaged, that spike degrades ESC capacitors, stresses battery cells, and in worst cases causes connector damage over repeated cycles.
This XT90S parallel battery connector harness addresses that directly. The two XT90-S connectors in this assembly each carry the built-in anti-spark resistor that sequences the contact engagement — main circuit closes only after the inrush has been bled down. The result is a parallel connection that doesn't punish your electronics for being hot-plugged, which is the actual use case in the field.

Wiring Harness uses an independent XT90-S with its own inrush-limiting resistor. When you connect the second battery pack to a live system, the resistor bleeds down the voltage differential before the main contact closes on that branch — independently of what the first branch is doing. You get anti-spark protection on both connections, not just the first plug.
Gold-plated contacts across both connectors. At 90A continuous, contact resistance is where heat concentrates and where parallel harnesses fail first — usually because one connector oxidizes faster than the other and the current distribution between branches shifts. Gold plating resists surface oxidation over hundreds of mate/demate cycles in a way nickel doesn't, which matters when battery packs get swapped multiple times per session.
Silicone insulation for real thermal margin. The wire runs silicone-insulated at 200°C rated, not standard PVC. Inside enclosed battery bays on RC cars and electric scooters, heat builds up — particularly when both packs are pulling near-rated current simultaneously. Silicone doesn't soften or deform at the operating temperatures that PVC reaches under those conditions.
Equal-length branches for balanced discharge. Both battery input cables are manufactured to the same length. This isn't cosmetic — equal impedance on both branches means both packs contribute current proportionally and discharge at matched rates. It extends the usable life of both packs and keeps your BMS from seeing one side as degraded before the other.
Factory QC: continuity, insulation, and pull-test on every unit. Each high current RC
Power Cable assembly goes through conductor continuity check, insulation resistance test, and mechanical pull-test on every crimp before packing. For OEM customers building battery packs or integrating harnesses into production equipment, incoming inspection pass rates on our assemblies run consistently above 99%.
