This is an XT90-S series high-current wire harness featuring genuine XT90-S anti-spark male and female connectors in signature yellow housing, paired with high-flexibility black silicone-jacketed wire. The XT90-S connector incorporates a built-in resistor in the male plug that pre-charges the capacitors in ESCs and power electronics before full current contact is made, effectively suppressing the spark and voltage spike that occurs when connecting a fully charged battery — protecting both the connector and downstream electronics from damage over time.
The silicone cable jacket provides superior flexibility and heat resistance compared to standard PVC wire, making this harness well-suited for high-current applications in drones, RC vehicles, battery packs, and solar energy systems where both current capacity and routing flexibility are critical.
