Are the wiring harnesses universal?

Customers often send us a photo asking: "Do you have this wire harness in stock?"

 

The answer is: In most cases, wire harnesses are not universal.

 

Having exported wire harnesses for so many years, Suyi Electronics has seen thousands of custom-made harnesses, and truly universal ones are extremely rare. The reason is simple: wire harnesses are customized according to the needs of the equipment—different connectors at both ends, different wire lengths, different wire diameters, different wiring paths—even a centimeter difference can mean they won't fit.

 

What about standard wire harnesses on the market? They do exist, such as common USB cables, network cables, and power cords. But wire harnesses used in industrial equipment, medical instruments, and automotive interiors are basically custom-made according to blueprints.
